In response to my first message, I realise that I was perhaps not specific enough. But to a certian extent that is the point. I do not have enough knowledge with which to be specific...I don't know what I am talking about when it comes to recording equipment. I am only looking for some information on where to start. I literally want to do some home recording and would appreciate some pointers...I am not looking for studio quality recordings at the moment, it is more to improve my technique on the instruments I play and to help experiment with some new sounds...
