volume levels

please could anyone tell me at what volume levels they have their equipment set to. ie the computer volume (master volume and wave volume) are the faders all up or half way, the mixer master volume and the amp volume.

I tend to think that the pro's use one volume control to manouver as they work on their mixes. my question is which one do they keep moving up and down and which ones remain constant and at what levels are they left to be constant?
 
haha...this question is pretty newbish. it's going to be different for everybody since everyone has pretty different gear. how much volume is being put out and how much volume your monitors can take is up to what you have.

i turn my master fade (of the hardware device, not in my mix) down 5 db i think. its just so that things don't distort my crappy speakers that i use.
 
Don't post the same question in 2 different forums. It's kind of annoying. People have already answered in your other one...
