I'm able to play regular VSTs perfectly fine using an external MIDI keyboard in Acid Pro 6.0; however, when I try playing a drum kit using the external controller, I hear both the drum sound and the actual note I'm playing. 
If I click on the virtual keyboard using the mouse, I only hear the drum sound. How can I correct this to use the drum kits with my MIDI keyboard? Any input is appreciated.
