TASCAM Tape to digital output

I've got a TASCAM 488 MKII 8 track recording studio that has been great and is everything I've needed. The thing I want now is to create a CD or other digital output from the tape I create with my studio. Anyone know if that's possible or how I can do that? (short of buying a brand new - newer model - studio?)

You would need to either mix down to your computer and burn a CD from there or get a stand alone CD burner to mix down to.

The computer would probably be the way to go since you already have one.

If you have a set of outs on the Tascam run the output of that to the line in on the computer. You will only have the choice of two tracks on the computer unless you buy some kind of interface. I hope that helps.
