I have a good mix but my volume level is low in final mix

Everything is mixed and compressed but when i send it to Itunes volume is low. all my volume levels are just before peak and i am now working with limiters and eqs. Any other advise?

if you've set the bounce to normalize, it can break it.

Give yourself more headroom during mixdown, 6dB or more. Don't try to get your final level at that stage. Once the project is mixed, then finalize it as you see fit, raising the level with a mastering limiter if you want the song louder.

Also, make sure you don't have the auto leveling feature on in iTunes if you want to hear the true relative levels of things.
