How to improve my audio quality? (effects?)

Hi. I just got a new mic, the AT2020 USB and I was wondering if someone can give me tips or advice to improve the quality. Here is a link to a 10 second raw sample: https://soundcloud.com/phoenixblue-374294866/at2020-test

When I put this commentary over video game footage, my voice doesn't seem to stand out. Sounds kind of drowned out or something especially when comparing it to other people's audio.

Can someone give me tips or advice on what effects like compressor/equalization to add to it? Would be great if someone could edit it in Audacity or another program and share the settings with me.

Compression and reverb (applied in that order) might help.

For help mixing you would need to supply a sample voice as well as sample audio/game you will be talking over.

Are game reviews a new craze? Seen a lot of people in the past year asking almost identical question(s). How much $$ you expecting to generate with those couple (thousand? at most?) google views?
