I just want to put beat track's down first to play guitar over so I dont have to concentrate on keeping the groove in my songs and can focus more on my playing! I've looked at hammerhead and acoustica beatcraft and I understand how these programs work but cannot get get the acceptable beats. Any advice. Whats the easiest way to set up these applications. or can I just get loops somewhere.

What recording program are you using?

I use Tracktion and just create beats with the midi pianoroll provided.

    Check out http://www.loopgalaxy.com/ for loops.

LOL... that site really goes for anything.

OK, starfox, check that. Should give a basic idea how to make beats in piano roll. http://www.computermusic.co.uk/tutorial/sc1/sc1.asp
