Cant get my midi keyboard to record right in pro tools

Hi folks im pretty new into the usb interface. I decided to go with the Pro tools mbox mini and pro tools 8. I have a axiom 25 also. My problem is getting the axiom 25 to record right. Im using an instrument track and it only records some of the notes that im pressing any ideas? Thanks
 
Try using program #15 on the Axiom. It is set up for general Midi and will support the transport buttons best. Make sure you are using 1 connection only (USB or Midi cable, not both).
 
Check or replace the USB cable Musicianman. You should also be able to check your system device and/or driver info to see if it is reporting a problem.
