can not get LAME to load in reaper..

and I have tried everything.....I had no issues before, but recently replaced my hard drive, re downloaded reaper, but this time, can not get lame to be available for rendering etc..ARG!!
 
Do a search on forum dot cockos dot com. I remember having to sort this issue out too, but I can't recall what I did.
 
thanks for the replies..i have tried what is suggested in the links above, but something must be corrupt?..
its a long complicated story, but simply put..when i re downloaded reaper, it somehow..in part, downloaded to my backup/external drive...
this is going to sound retarded, but I ca not find the file to place the LAME dll into..

I am considering completely deleting reaper, then re installing it, but..i am very concerned about my previously saved projects not being able to be used still if I do that?
 
FIXED!!!! wow..been messing with this for a WHILE, starting a few weeks ago..just now finally figure out what was going on..for some reason LAME extracted into y administrator file..WEIRD..
