Hello, I'm very new to recording and trying to work out Ableton Live Lite and the Focusrite Scarlett Solo Studio. I have got as far as loading up some plug ins including Bias Amp 2 LE, but can't for the life of me work it out. I can get the plug in up, but play a guitar through it and playing around seems to make no difference whatsoever to the actual sound. I plug the guitar into the DAW, drag the plug in to the audio channel, and the amp comes up, but from then on doesn't seem to make any difference. Any clues on where I'm going wrong?

I've never used Ableton , but in the programs (DAWS) I've used, if want to hear an effect while you are playing , you have to turn on "imput echo" on the track you are using. This can cause a delay in what you are hearing on that track depending on your drivers and how fast your pc is . There should be a button somewhere on the tracks for this function . Google it if you can't find it . MS ..
