Acid Music Studio

Acid Music Studio seems like a really good program but it only supports 16 bit/48 kHz recording. I can't afford Acid Pro($400.00 I think) which would give me 24 bit 192 kHz. Will this lower bit depth really make much difference to my overall sound? Will 16/48 give me CD quality audio? My songs at myspace

Thanks

Oh, I just read the post below about sample rate and bit depth and that answers my questions pretty well. Unless you need the extreme dynamic range of DVD audio you don't need 24 bit... or am I wrong? In this world of ipods and mp'3, CD quality (16/48) audio would be a huge leap upward in quality anyway. Seems like this 24/192 recording is highly over-rated. Any disagreement on this?
