4-track cassette to 8 track digital?

I was checking out the DIY portion of this site, and was excited to find something about turning 4-track cassette into 8-track digital, unfortunately, the page that it is linked to doesn't work! Please if anybody can provide info about this procedure, I would be very appreciative. I have a Tascam 414 Portastudio, and a PC running Windows XP. Can this really be done?? THANKS

There is no way to turn your 4track into a digital 8 track machine but if you want to transfer your songs to the computer you just need a soundcard with at least 4 inputs and some multitracking software. The Delta 44 is a popular card.
