Would love to get your comments on this new song which I've just completed:

I wrote, recorded, and mixed this song over the past year using Reaper, Reason 5.0, and Waves plugins. The track was mastered by the most excellent John at MassiveMastering.com.

Cool tune. I'm not qualified to comment on the production value, but I'll say everything sounds pretty good to me except the snare. Don't take this as a dig, but it sounds like it could stand to be tuned better. Too rattley(I made that word up, I think) for my tastes. Makes it sound like a cheapo snare, IMO.

Everything else sounds really good. I'm a sucker for harmonies, and yours are superb. Makes me wanna buy a Byrd album

Gonna give this another listen later. Good tune

Darkfriend or Raver? Covenant or Jordan?
Reminds me of late 70's pop a touch of TMBGiants in the voice too.
All cool but I found the drums a bit disappointing - jsut not a very expressive or interesting pattern as it pulls the song towards country.
