Newbie - Opinions on instrumental

This is my first time posting on this board. I was messing around tonight with just my guitar and Cool Edit Pro. Just thought I'd see how some other people like this.

It's not really a song, just a few short ideas I put together

ahhh.....yep....and now the next step is to do something with the ideas.....I did actually listen to the whole track.....that's some harsh sounding distorted guitar....we've all started from somewhere and this is a start from what I could tell (or at least a test of equipment and abilities...)....keep on trackin'!

the first guitar part reminded me of "them bones' by aic.
The sound of the guitars had my ears in fatigue after about a minute.
Way too much presence/high end.
It sounded thin/wimpy, it lacked bass.

I cant critiqe the song because it was hurting my ears.
