New Song - Your Comments?

Comments, critiques, suggestions, perhaps even praise?

Song is called "Week" and is my attempt at a three minute pop song that gets in your head and stays there.

Nice tune, sounded kinda Beatles, british pop to me.

The mix;

It sounds a bit overcompressed to me, and its some distortion, specially on the drums.
You may need to lower the level a bit.
The vox, are very well done, but could use some De-essing, or being redone with a pop filter.


But all in all a very enjoyable tune to listen to

Interesting - there's no mastering on this mix, so no compression. And the drums don't have any compression either. Perhaps an MP3 conversion thing? I did use a pop filter, but I might be too close to the mic.
