My first try at recording

This is my first somewhat serious attempt at recording something and it would be great to get some feedback. The song was for a Snakes on a Plane song contest, so the lyrics are really cheesy, but any suggestions would be great. It's called "The 'I've got a cobra spittin' on my face at 30,000 feet' Blues".

It has a very old blues recorded in the backroom feel & sound.
Nice, fun. Was it what you were aimimng for 'cause if you were aiming for a full on Metallica sound you missed it by a hair?

I think the vocals and bass could be a hair louder to match the guitar.
