I don't know the original, but I really dig this bluegrass/old time feel.

I think you made an almost beautiful mix. The panned electrics are just a hair loud and piercing. I'd lower them just a smidgen and try to notch a db or 2 from the 2k-5k range (just sweep it). Another thing is on the piercing notes you can maybe just manually lower them because not all the notes pierce.
