hows this drum sound?

Nice double kick!

Like the kick and toms sound, snare could be a bit punchier. Not that keen on that cymbal sound, tho the china sounded ok.

That's a great starting drums sound man! You barely touched it, mix-wise? I'd like to know what kind of mics you are using on the toms... I agree that the snare should be punchier and louder in the mix. Also, compress the shit out the kicks. ;)

Sounds very good, I'd agree with the fact that the cymbals sound a bit weird, and the snare could do with being louder when the mix comes, but it sounds good :)
 
Cymbals sound very harsh and overbright.... snare is a weak... I like the kick.... don't care for the toms....

Can't get around the cymbals -- waaaayy harsh!
 
i used on condensor over head a sm57 over the toms and a 57 on the beater side of the kick. ill take pics friday and post sometime this weekend. were recording some more drums and guitars and possibly my bass lines! ill have 13 or 15 songs to post :)
