"Darkness Beholds" By Rockonin (Experimental Classical)

Cool sung vocals, but rather a mess apart from that. The biggest culprit is the delayed sequence, it gets in the way (also because you didn't bother to sync it to the vocals) and it's just not that special to warrant the attention that you give it. The intro arrangement is too diverse and doesn't work - sounds like a theatre score outtake or something. There's something cool about the shifting of the vocals and the strings in the mid part. I guess most people would say they're fighting for attention but I like the effect, makes the song larger than life and totally robs it of any perceivable dimension (very desirable in my book). The narrated poem in the end doesn't work for me, it totally ruins the ethereal feel of the song up to that point.

Thanks for your comment. But it is experimental. I dont like doing anything commercial. It works for me since i composed the song. But thats your opinioin.
