2 Songs to review(jazzy-funky, Ambient)

I just finished mixing down these two songs and would like a little fed back on how you think they sound mix wise.

Anybody have any suggestions as to possible improvements to the mix. I would like to get a bigger sound on the drums in the ambient song without increasing the volume too much and get a wider stereo field in general for both. Maybe some EQ tips too.

Actually the funky one sounded way too midi, maybe some better soundfonts to begin with?

That Flute tune is pure skate rink finesse.

Drums could be a little less programmed, but an excellent job of programming in any case.

Ambient actually squeezed an unrecorded vocal out of me!

I can't seem to reproduce it this second time through.....

Thanx for the replies. The flute tune was recorded in about two hours and i did use a roland v-drum kit but just played live straight to wave without using midi. The song was kind of a joke I just used it as practice for mixing. the flute was from my K2000.
