hey folks,

sorry to keep pounding on the monitor thread(s). ok, so i see that most think a subwoofer in a small room is a bad idea and i can understand why. but i'm still left with the dilemna of finding some decent, affordable ($500 range) SMALL monitors for a small room, like a very small bedroom. so far, i see that event is making a bi-amplified project studio series in this range, and yamaha is also offering a biamplified monitor in this range. sorry, model numbers escape me but they are selling these models at http://8thstreet.com and http://zzounds.com. noone here locally carries any of these models so i'm not able to go out and hear them. has anyone dealt or dealing with a similar problem? any suggestions? thanks!

What are the dimensions of the room? I've mixed stuff in fairly small space, 12' X 9'. Is it smaller than that? Any monitors you buy are going to behave differently in any room. There is no ideal monitor for any situation. The key is to know what effect the room is having, and work around it. I'm sure you know that though.
