am getting an error message when trying to export in cubase

hello people im hoping someone might be able to shed some light on why i am getting an error message when trying to export to wave file or mp3 in cubase sx3 , never ever happened to me before just cant figure out why, anyone else had the same problem ? thanks

What does the error message say?

I'll get one in Cakewalk that says "specified selection contains no audio data", which usually means something was inadvertantly highlighted somewhere. Either going into Edit and clicking 'Select None' or hitting 5+Ctrl+Shift+A takes care of it.
