3rd Party Distribution Sites?

How many really good 3rd Party Distribution sites are there out there (& what are their URL's)? I had read (in Electronic Musician) that "Vitaminic" offered "pay for play" for individual songs. After visiting the site & reading the FAQ's, I'm not so sure. I'm really disappointed at the lack of this option, in general, on the W3. How in the H _ _ L does an artist sell individual songs on the internet (while in the process of producing a 10 song CD?) Thanks.
