trading my Aardvard Q-10 for a Tascam US 122 2 channel USB card

Anyone have this 2 channel USB card for recording into your computer.
I'm thinking about trading in my Aardvark Q-10 for this, since I only ever use 2 channels and record drums at someones else's studio.
I just feel like I'm waisting $500 because I could resell the Q-10 for $700-$750 and get this Tascam US122 USB unit and then turn the $500 around and put it into a good pre-amp.
Was wondering if anyone owns a Tascam US 122 and how well does it record as far as quality. All opinions are welcomed.....thanx

I don't have one myself, but I've heard that it can be hit or miss on getting good results with it or any USB interface for that matter.
If others post that have good results with it ... I would recommend getting detailed info on their computer's components to see if they match yours. I've read of many people having problem after problem with USB interfaces. It seems to be system dependent on which ones will find joy with the units.
