I'm looking for a VST that may not exist.
I want to take a small sound effect, and make it sound like it's running off a tape, and then someone hits rewind and plays it back again.
(You know that screechy noise - when your playing AND holding down rewind on a cassette player).
I can just record the piece onto a tape - and do it manually, but if there is a VST that does some kind of similar 'tape mainpulation' effect, it may be handy for a couple other tricks as well.
I know Adobe Audition has some time effects that make it sound like a vinyl record is slowing down and speeding up.
Anybody know of a vst that might do something similar to that ?
(Or a way to use regular effects in a creative way - to do that ? )
