Static/Noise from Laptop w/M Audio Mobilepre Card

Hello all.
I purchased the M-Audio Mobilpre audio card. installed it, but i'm finding that i'm getting static from my laptop. I've done everything. disconnected all of the plugs the static subsides for a little bit if i unplug the electric cable from the laptop, but it's still there, but not as loud. does anyone have any suggestions? The noise even comes out on my recordings which is unacceptable.

Disable your internal sound card (go to device manage, sound card, right click, disable). See if that helps.
