I'm not sure which section to post this as it could be either a midi or computer problem!
I'm running Cubase LE and Reaper in XP.
My connections are:
Midi keyboard to PC via USB
Midi thru from keyboard to Motif Rack ES for my sounds.
Everything works wonderfully well except when random midi notes (triggering the motif) do not sound. For example, a random hi hat, snare, bass note won't be heard during a song. This may happen once or twice throughout a song or not at all.
I've changed midi cables and am at a loss!
