I'm in the process of putting together a new DAW...I'm up to the point of loading an Operating System...I'd like to load Windows 2000 but I'm a little worried about compatibility issues...I've called several vendors and keep getting different answers. Here's my setup:

IWILLVD-133PL Motherboard
PIII 700E @ 931 MHz
256 MB PC-133 RAM
MidiMan Delta 66
Soundblaster MP3+
Maxtor 20.4 and 15.6 @7200 RPM
19" KDS VS190 monitor
Matrox Millenium G400 16MB Video Card
Logitech ITouch cordless keyboard/mouse
Hewlett-Packard 8210 CD-RW
CakeWalk 9 Deluxe

Thanks for your replies...

i would check on the wireless stuff first and then if that works its only a matter of software compatability, am i right?
if it works cool
if not then u can always format
thats what i do alot
later

Thanks nodark...I had missed that notice from MidiMan...guess I'll stay with Win98 for now and hope that Bill Gates starts playing better with the other kids soon. Thanks for your reply...
