Hey all,
I've been using this 2408 MKII for about a year now, and just today i was in Cubase when i noticed that input 1 in the cubase mixer had a spiked level all the way up and holding constant... I hit the button to monitor this mystery signal after ruling out everything else, and it sounded like this:
what is strange is that there is not indication in the meters on the MOTU hardware rack unit that any signal is coming in input 1...Also, when i DO send a signal to the first input, it registers in the meters on the rack unit, but doesn't make it into the software...it's just that buzz sound. So the problem must be somewhere after the box right?
I opened up sound forge to make sure it wasn't the software, and monitoring input one i got the same sound. I'm clueless as to where the problem could lie that is causing this...any ideas?? thanks in advance.
