I have a Behringer UB802 Mixer, Audiotrak MAYA soundcard which has RCA ins/outs a MXL 990 Condensor Mic Using Sonar 4 as recording Software.
My question what is the proper way to setup this combination as to where I can record vocals using the mixer, since it has the 48v phantom power I need, and monitor through the soundcard as I record into sonar? Where would my playback monitors be connected to?
Also should I monitor using Sonar or the soundcards record input monitor.
and what should the software and/or hardware settings be to accomplish this feat?
