Looking for USB recoding interface

Hello all

I am trying to find a 24 bit USB interface to record vinyl & cassettes to a laptop. I have found 16 bit devices from Behringer and Xitel. Most of the 24 bit devices do not have RCA inputs and seem to be designed for instrument/microphone inputs. I was not sure if these would work with an adapter for transfer. I prefer not to spend in the thousand dollar range. Also, any recommendations on software to clean up the recordings?

Thanks

You can use RCA to 1/4" cables to connect to most any interface. With the turntable, you will probably have to apply RIAA filtering somewhere in the chain. This is usually done with hardware, but you might find a software solution. Lots of affordable usb interfaces on the market.

Welcome to the site.

Lexicon IO42 and use adapters to change rca to 1/4" . Assuming you are taking a line out from a receiver?
