focusrite preamps

has anyone used a focusrite octopre? i have a behringer 2442mx and i am using the pre's from it to go to my 1010lt. are focusrite products better than behringer? and if so, much better or just a hair better.

i like the 8 pre's in one rack. i definatly require 8 pre's. if anyone knows of anything comparable please let me know.

I wish I could tell you from experience, but I can tell you from reputation that Focusrite pre's are worlds and worlds above Beh's in quality and craftsmanship. I've been looking at the Octopre myself ... it'll be a while before my checkbook will allow it
