A brief history.
I have always recorded with a standalone unit.
I made the jump to direct to computer recording, and bought a firebox for my first attempt.
My computer is 6 months old, and has plenty of juice.
My question is most likely a stupid one but....
WHen I record something (Acid Pro 4.0) and play it back, it doesn't line up with the original track I was playing along to.
I am guessing this is a latency thing.
The book that came with the firebox is not real specific when it comes to these basic things.
What do I need to do to make this damn thing record exactly as I play from track to track?????
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
