I'm still trying to make a descision on an audio interface. Echo layla3g, or firepod? I haven't heard anything bad about either until now. Somebody claimed that the firewire output is flimsy and when disturbed it causes drops. Another person said that they were unable to get the cubase LE to recognize the firepods asio driver. I know that the firepod is an awesome piece of hardware besides these things. Has anyone else ever had any problems or concerns with the firepods firewire output, and would the firepod have any kind of problems with cubase sx? Also if anyone knows of any possible problems with the echo layla3g, or can compare the quality of the two, that may be helpfull.
