I know that generally if a soundcard has outputs at line level you can run a pair of those outputs to your amp. However, I'm thinking of buying a MOTU 896 and I see that it's outputs are not the 1/4" jacks which I'm familiar with but rather 8 XLR sockets operating at either +4 or -10dB. It also has a 'Main Out' section which the website says can be hooked straight up to monitors however my amp doesn't have XLR-ins, would a simple stereo XLR to stereo jack cable suffice?
