Ok I wont ask which is better since that doesnt matter to me at this point since I can open the program and not much more. I purchased a "package" and I have both programs on my computer. I have an M audio delta 1010 interface with a board for all my ins.
My question is............ Which is E-A-S-I-E-R to LEARN to use. Not which is easier if you know them already.
What is better for a newbie to focus on?
Thank you

neither of those progs are aimed at newbs.

i'd suggest starting w/ something free like Kristal, and when you find something the program doesn't offer and need, then purchase legit copies of whatever you find appropriate.

edit: of the two, i'd go with Cubase.

i think both take the same amount of trying to figure it out. of the two, i'd go with sonar but heres something that both programs have....manuals! plus if you click the help and then search for recording...both will give you directions. its how i figured it out. since you have a "package" with both...just start messing around with one. 6 in one, half a dozen in the other. flip a coin and go for it.
