Agreed.....buy the parts yourself and build with the best you can afford.

Definately build your own!!! I just built a sick Rackmount Barton Core Athlon rig running Windows XP LITE... It has Just the XP shell with no internet running Sonar 3 & Wavelab. Beautiful!!!

90% of the parts came from new egg.

Dont be intimidated by it. Its really quite simple. Simply follow directions in the motherboard instruction manual.
