Wonder if any one can help me Im currently writting my dissertation for my Music tech degree and I am arguin for home recording and how powerful DAW's have become
But does any one know any where on the net where I can obtain performance graphs or information on the amount of tracks a DP 1.25Ghz G4 can run with around 768Ram and how much a G5 can for Pro tools, DP4, Cubase and other sequencers??
I have already carried out some of my own tests and found its possible for a 1.25Ghz DP G4 can run 40 tracks with 768Ram with ableton Live 4
