i have a 433mhz celeron, 312 ram, windowsXP. What is a good sound recording card i could get for under $300. also, do i need an interfeace, or do $300 recording sound cards come with one
The m-audio(midiman) audiophile 2496 or Echo mia are both good cards in your price range. If you give some specifics about how many inputs you need I am sure someone here will help you. I believe the audiophile can be had for as low as $159.That would give you enough left over for a mic-preamp if you don't have one already.Neither of these cards have a breakout box(interface) you just plug right into them.
