Tascam M-208 (Good match for Teac A-3440 & Tascam 32 ?)

High guys. I can pickup a pretty decent Tascam M-208 Mixer at a good price. The only thing wrong is the VU meter lights are out (meters work fine). Aside from the lights, the seller says everything works as it should.

Do you think the M-208 is a good match for my Teac A3440 and Tascam 32 tape recorders? Or would a different Tascam mixer be preferable?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

The M-208 is a great little mixer for the setup you've got so long as you don't require phantom power for any condenser microphones you might own now or in the future. Although external phantom power units are available as an add-on unit from several different manufacturers. I used to own one back when I was working with a TASCAM 38 and found it to be a decent reliable no nonsense board. The VU meter light bulbs are available if you wanted a DIY project to change them out which would require a fair bit of disassembly and soldering skills to accomplish that.

Cheers! :)
