My beloved Tascam 424mkii will, seemingly, for no reason just stop when recording, playing, rewinding, fast forwarding... I have no idea what caused this. I feel like if I record for a while it almost works the kink out? Not really sure though.
An example will be if I hit record and play it will start, then one second later record will just go off but it will keep playing. Or if I rewind it will roll for a little but but then just stop for no reason.
Does anyone have any light to shed on the situation or know where I could send it for a repair or anything?!@? Help!!!
