I recently found a 424 mkii on ebay for $20 that seemed to work fine the first time I used it. I was thoughtless and accidentally used a 12v AC power supply with it (instead of the 12v dc that it requires). I used it like that two or three times and it seemed to work fine even with the ac supply. Today I realized that the right side of the line out and headphone jack is significantly weaker than the left. It sounds fine, just much quieter. It's possible that it was like this even before I used the ac supply. I am not sure what could be the problem. Could the ac source have damaged a transistor for the right channel? Any advice?
