May have to purchase these Universal Audio Plug-ins.This Studer A800 24 track and Ampex ATR-102 as explained by UA creators nail the vintage analog sound,...and if this is true ,they picked the superior machines to emulate.

Has anyone had the opportunity to use these plug-ins?

For projects not worth putting wear and tear on my tape decks ;-), I use Slate VTM. I like it a lot.
