    I want to be able to sync my reel to reel with my adat system.I have a BRC. Basically, I am assuming I would sync my brc to the fostex using track 16 with smpte timecode? What do I need to accomplish this? I bought the proprietary fostex cables and I am wondering if I buy a 4030 synchronizer will it do the job? Will the brc sync to the 4030 and what else am I looking at to get this to work? Lastly, does anyone know what a EECO Ives master controller do? Is it for audio to video or audio to audio?

    I do not know any thing about the 4030.

    I have locked up my sound card & Multi-track programs to
    my Otari 5050 8 Track using this;

    http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI...tem=1478867050

    I just generate a smpte code on to track 8, adjust a few smpte numbers on
    the program & it locks up pretty good.

    I hope this was some help.

    Thanks for reply!!

    I think I need the 4030 due to the fostex reel to reel has proprietary connectors and cables.In otherwords from the reel to reel to the 4030 it uses it's proprietary cables and I'm assuming the 4030 has connections to other formats on the back of the box.Still trying to figure it out.Fostex won't even return my emails on this subject.Anyway's thanks,Greg
