shure sm 57 and Behringer vx 2000. Does it work ?

I own a vx2000 , it *does not* work
fine with all mikes...

so , does anybody uses it with the shure sm 57 >?

Its not for singing vocals but for
simple narration , close miking, telephone apllications
and some short jingles.

Please let me know...

(or should i just give away the Behringer haaha)
