This is the link in the email I got - it will probably take you to some collection of mics you don't recognize, but you can delete each individually and use the Search window to find and drag your own picks in there. Make sure to pick Tambourine track from "The L.A. Song" recordings, and the audio waveform again (below the search icon). It's interesting. Supposedly it's an (the?) instrument that will pinpoint shrillness and peakiness in your mic selection pretty quickly.
The Mojave MA-1000 (not a mic I own) looks amazingly smooth. There are probably others - I only tried a few.
