Shure Model 300 Ribbon mic.
I had this mic stored on its side for a long time.
Now the ribbon is visibly sagged in the direction it was lying. I know this because I took it apart and inspected it to verify. Even when it is put together you can hold it up to a bright light and see through only one side of the ribbon cavity.
I can't use it on my guitar amp anymore because it breaks up to easily.
So I am currently storing it on its OTHER side to try and "sag" it back into place. It has only been in this position since last night.
Should I continue with this plan or what?
