Kurt Cobain style vocals

Hey ! I'm currently recording some songs and I have a to choose from two mics. My style of vocal is similaire to a kurt cobain style and I was wondering whitch of theses two would sound better.

Sm 58 from shure

or a atmosphere that my friend told me he could rent it to me, but I don't know what mic at all this is so don't laugh if the choice is obvious.

I know my shure mics but the atmosphere I don't know a single thing about it.

Also can you explain to me why ?

Steve Albini is not a fan of shure sm58's, so I highly doubt they were used to record Nirvana for In Utero. If you want to see what microphones were used to record Nirvana check out this link.

Bleach was done with a bunch of cheap stuff though, I wouldn't doubt if it was a 58 or something like it. It sounds like a dynamic to me anyhow.
