Hey guys lost my GT44 source adapter, gotta get same adapter?

Or will a computer monitor cord work. I realize that really may not be the best thing and could damage the mic, but I was wondering do I have to get the same adapter plug cord from groove tubes? Or is there a way to look up the particular specs on the GT-44 cord and get another at say radio shack or something?
 
What is a "source adapter"? Did you lose the 7-pin cable connecting the mic to the power supply? Or did you lose the power cord? Er... sumthin else?

I'm figuring you mean the IEC power cord. If it's that... any cable you have around that looks like this and fits into the power supply will work.
 
Thanks Dot. Yeah its the power cord. And the cord I'm using is for a computer monitor and its working just fine, just didn't know if it was gonna damage the mic somehow because the one that groove tubes sent was pretty thick and what not. Thought maybe the cord would be specific to the GT44, looks like it can be any cord then. Cool thanks. I just want to start recording already. Peace.
