I was just browsing around zzounds.com a little today and noticed that they're selling the NT3 for a paltry $134. so if you were in the market for an NT3, or were sitting on the fence, go check it out.

An echo about the NT3? I didn't even make a connection with what is being said in the NT1 & NT2 post until just this second. That's weird because I just posted there a second ago. Now I feel like a bonehead.

Well, I might, but:

Are they really better then my 2 CAD Equitek E-1000 small condensers? Are they good for drum overheads, hi-hats, cymbals, etc.? How are they with acoustic guitars, etc.? How do they compare to Shure SM81? How do they compare to AKG c1000s? Tell me more, tell me more Thanks!

P.S. And most importantly, why aren't they on Rode website?!

Directly compared to a C1000, it was "very impressive"...I bought the NT3! Try it, surprisingly good for the $.
